Got a Crock Pot Question?
Timing off, ingredient swap needed, roast came out tough? Send it over. I’ve probably dealt with it in the last three years.
I read everything personally and respond to every email, usually within 2-3 days. Sometimes longer if I’m working extra shifts or one of the kids gets sick (happens way too often), but I’ll get back.
Seriously, if you tried a recipe and it didn’t work, tell me. I want to know what went wrong. Maybe I eyeballed something and need to fix the written measurements.

Or use the form below:
What to expect:
- Personal response from me (not an assistant, just me at 10 PM after kids are asleep)
- Real troubleshooting help (not generic “make sure you followed the recipe” garbage)
- Honest answers (if I don’t know, I’ll say so and figure it out)
Listen, your email stays private. No spam, no sharing, no selling your info. I barely have time to respond to emails, definitely don’t have time to send spam.
Quick Answers
Here’s what I’m expecting people to ask based on the last three years of texting recipes to friends:
- Can I double your recipes?
Yeah, but only if your crock pot is big enough. Don’t fill past 2/3 full or it won’t cook right. - Can I use a different meat?
Usually yes. Email me which recipe and what meat, I’ll tell you if I’ve tried it. - I only have a 4-quart slow cooker, will your recipes work?
Cut everything by about a third. Or make the full amount and have leftovers (honestly what I’d do). - My roast/stew/whatever came out dry/tough/weird, what happened?
Timing’s usually the issue. Low and slow wins. Email me the details, I’ll help troubleshoot.

Share Your Version
Once you try one of my recipes, I want to hear how it goes.
- Modified something that worked better
- Figured out a substitution I haven’t tried
- Made it work in a different size slow cooker
- Have a photo of your kids actually eating it (rare victory)
Email me at hello[@]slowcookcomfort.com or tag @slowcookcomfort on Pinterest/Facebook.
If you figure out something that works better than my version, I’ll update the recipe and credit you. This is all learning as I go.

Thanks for being here. Still figuring out this whole blog thing, but excited to share what’s been working for our family.
